The blog below from Entrepreneur.com gave seven great steps that I have expounded upon with my experience. 1. Choose Wisely – select the right company for you. If your a many, you might not wanting to be selling beauty products. if you are a programmer, you might prefer digital product over fruit juices. 2. Practice what they teach – find mentors, and follow them. Don’t re-invent the wheel. They probably know what is duplicatable. 3. Select a good upline (the “higher ups”) – you might have to shop around, you don’t want your sponsor to be MIA (Missing in Action) 4. Take the lead with your downline – help new members get started, help them duplicate. 5. Use the internet – use online systems for lead generation, learn the latest marketing tools and advertising techniques 6. Take care of business – take care of your accounting, open a separate checking account for your business and don’t comingle funds. Learn about the tax advantages of a home-based opportunity. 7. Don’t quit your day – job yet. – For sure, pay off all your debts first, even get your house paid for, then quit your day charge. However, if it’s actually costing you to keep it, then get out now.
